is there anyone who knows of anyone hunting with a male harris in surrey,ive got a big shoot near box hill ,could do with some tips as this is my first bird iam now trying to drop his weight down to 1lb 7oz or a bit lower. he is quite a big bird i would like to know how much food anyone else feeds ther bird on adailey basis::
if you are feeding chicks, open them up and take the yokes out, if you also fly them from perch or tree to the fist for each chick, this will also help to loose a bit of weight at the same time.
I live in guildford ,and I fly a cast of harris hawks and a pere/saker.
