Rob i went to see a guy in warrington the other day called steve ,he had a harris and an african spotted owl ,european eagle owl and buzzard i had an hour with him it was great he showed me loads of stuff .
Ive just got this book by jemmima parry jones ,top book to read goes into full length about falconry ,ive built me mew and going to get in a few weeks an african spotted owl ,just to get use to keeping birds of prey its a nice size and something id feel comfortable with for me first year ,hope your doing ok .
was the blokes name ste webb? you still on about getting a harris aswell though? also you getting an imprint or non?keep in touch bud cause im getting a spar in a bit so that will be up and going before the gos etc so we'll get out
Rob it was steve davidson he lives near gullivers world ,he seems a nice guy he,s coming ours on sunday to check that me mews ok for the bird i get ,ive split it into two as he said that if its a large mew the birds can get very territorial he had some great birds ,so did you say your getting a sparrowhawk ,good on you m8 how many birds have you got now then?
yer i think im gonna get a spar just fly it till the peregrines out then probably chuck it up at the moment ive got a pere male pere female and tircel finish gos im gonna fly this spar and the tircel peregrin n my dads flying the gos and the female.

im no pro im just starting out ive built me mew and im just im starting with an owl first just to get use to keeping birds of prey and then ill lead on to falconry in a year .
