Would anyone recommend tethering an owl to a stump or log about a foot off the ground id fix a ring to it. Instead of a block perch ?is it wise aswell to fix affro turf to it aswell
Dont know much about owls only that ther can turn there head nearly all the way round..like that woman of the exorcist,i also know that they fly at night,but on a more serious note the owls that i have seen tethered are sat on a couple of foot tree stump with a ring and no astro turf but if you want to use turf cannot see it being a problem,they seem more comfortable on a tree stump

if you want astro turf you can get it from B&Q but if you want affro turf you'll have to go to the B&Q in jamaica

Hope those numbers were a help,..... if it was me I'd keep it simple, "Affro turf" can be a bit unhygenic in the summer with flies and maggots and stuff, got to keep it clean.
