Welcome to the ALL NEW Falconers Mews Forum.

The birds are moulted out, and the new season is upon us, we have had a couple of sugegstions that we shoudl do a forum and we thought a feedback and information forum was a great idea.

This is your stage to ask questions, share stories and experience, or just meet and chat with fellow Falconers & Hawkers.

For our Part, We at falconers Mews will try and keep you abreat of anything that we think you may wish to know, and if we all do the same, we should all know a lot :)

If you have any opinions about the new website design, or have any suggestions on improvements we could make, please mail us at conatct@falconersmews.co.uk

Happy hunting

Owen

Great Idea to have a questions and answers board, people like me who started a year agoe with a Harris often need a quick answer to easy questions. I remember the first time I fed my bird a rat, I was worried he would not be able to re gurgitate the scull!! lookinjg back it seems stupid but thats the sort of thing that can give a sleepless night in the early weeks.
Cheers Mark

Mark,

Thanks for your support.

I know exactly what you mean, I fortunatley knew a couple of guys when I first started, and they had to put up with Questions like....

"What if his pellet is too big to spit out"

But When my first Harris got kicked chasing a bunny into a hole, and then wouldn't put into one properly after that, the help of someone with some experience is invaluable.

Happy hunting

Owen

Hi owen,
nice little forum and makes a change to see one that actually works!
Early days yet but i think you should get some interesting topics going.
I come into contact with quite a few falconers so i'll spread the word.

Mick,

Welcome to the site.

There are a number of ways to approach this, but the first would be to contact a falconry group close to you.

Where are you?
