were i live in glamis in scotland there is a huge range of differant rapptors which can be seen almost everyday. But non more so than the peregrine falcon on days you see 2 or more of these birds flying around dive bombing each other or hunting. But there is one bird which totaly dwarfs the rest of the birds i think she is this years bird probably brought up in one of the angus glens. One day while watching her high up she went into a dive and it was clear she was after the greylags that were just taking off from the field. And with a thud she hit one dead.I managed to get a few hundred yards to were she was now plucking it and what a beauty she was. This peregrine is a big bird but the goose was alot bigger. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for peregrines to take geese in the wild
